North Star Apothecary was born from a deeply personal journey toward wellness. It all started when, at just 12 years old, I was diagnosed with asthma. My teenage years and early adulthood were marked by hospitalizations and reliance on medications that often felt like a Band-Aid rather than a solution.

In 2014, I decided to take a closer look at the products I was using in my home. I began removing toxic chemicals and replacing them with natural alternatives. The results were transformative: within just three years, I was no longer dependent on asthma medications. This experience gave me a profound perspective on the impact of everyday products on our health—and sparked a passion for helping others do the same.

Today, North Star Apothecary offers a wide range of all-natural, sustainable alternatives to the toxic products many of us use daily. From laundry detergent and all-purpose cleaner to lip balm and deodorant, every product is crafted with care to support your health and the planet. Our commitment to sustainability is reflected in our 90% glass packaging and refill options for many of our in-house creations.
